Fancy Flavors ships desserts throughout the United States using USPS as our third party shipping carrier. Orders are only shipped nationwide, using USPS two day shipping on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to avoid weekend overlays. We do not ship nationwide on Thursdays (with the exception of Overnight orders), Friday, weekends or holidays.
Fancy Flavors takes great pride in our products and makes every effort to assure your order arrives in excellent condition. Your desserts will be baked fresh and packaged with the utmost care. Once shipped, your selected carrier speed determines when it will arrive.
All orders are covered in bubble wrap with an ice pack to ensure the quality and freshness of our products during transit. The ice pack helps the product stay cold during transit and may be thawed by the time your package arrives. For best results, our products should be transferred to an air-tight container and refrigerated upon arrival and consumed within 5-7 days of delivery. They can alternatively be frozen upon arrival for up to 4 weeks. If you will be storing them in a refrigerator, please allow approximately 15 minutes to reach room temperature or 60 minutes if coming from the freezer. Colors may vary slightly from photographs shown on our website and/or social media accounts as our products are made by hand.
We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping. We cannot be responsible for delays in transit due to weather, natural disaster, high package volume (for example, holidays), strikes, or any such event beyond our control. Shipments can only be delivered to a street address within the United States. USPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
While not required, Fancy Flavors strongly suggests that someone to be home to receive your package delivery. We recommend this because: anything that happens next is entirely outside of our control. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person. If the package is not left, the customer is responsible for arranging pickup or re-delivery with the carrier. The customer is responsible for retrieving the package at all possible delivery locations such as front and side doors, mailbox, parcel locker, etc. The customer is responsible for packages left outside and exposed to bad weather/elements, and any other such delivery events beyond our control.
If you're sending a gift to someone, please let them know to "expect a package". It's not required but we recommend someone is home to receive the package, or perhaps ship to an alternate location–such as workplace–to avoid encountering any issues as previously stated.
Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order. Once the order is processed, it cannot be altered. Fancy Flavors is not responsible for packages returned to us or delivered to the incorrect address as a result. Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for USPS.
In the event that the product arrives damaged or in poor quality, the customer is responsible for notifying us immediately (within 24 hours) and keeping the products and original packaging for inspection. If you do not, we cannot guarantee any compensation or replacement. If a return is accepted, the package must be delivered to the carrier within 1 business day and returned via the same shipping service it was received.
